Homeschooled Kid Wins Science Award

16 year old Michael Viscardi from San Diego, CA won the Siemens Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science and Technology.

Michael has been taught at home since he was in 5th grade and currently takes some classes at UCSD.

Does this prove that homeschooling is better than public schools? No. Does it appear that there is a significant number of prizes going to homeschooled students in recent years? Yes.

Congratulations Michael, I hope your success inspires other parents to pull their children out of the cesspool of collectivist education.
